Pembrokeshire and the Tudors with Tony Riches

On Wednesday 18th October at 7.30 pm, local author Tony Riches will be giving a talk on ‘Pembrokeshire and the Tudors: the story of Henry Tudor’s birth in Pembroke Castle, his daring escape to Brittany from the ‘secret tunnels’ under Tenby and his return to Mill Bay to take on the army of King Richard III at Bosworth.’
Tony Riches is a historical fiction author from Templeton and a specialist in the history of the early Tudors. His best-selling Tudor Trilogy reached number one on Amazon UK, US and Australia and the third book, about Henry Tudor, was a finalist in the Amazon UK awards for 2017. He and his wife Liz were also part of the group in Pembroke who helped raise funding for the statue of Henry Tudor by Narberth sculptor Harriet Addyman.
The talk is £5 and Tony will be signing copies of his books afterwards. Refreshments will also be available in our coffee shop.
