The Welsh Quakers in America: One Family’s Story – a Talk by Margie Wilson

On Tuesday 15th May at 7pm, historian Margie Wilson from Pennsylvania USA will be sharing the history of the Walker family of Narberth, who settled and pioneered in Pennsylvania.

Lewis Walker of Redstone cottage, was a Quaker who travelled to Pennsylvania (USA) about 1683-1686. The family settled in Chester County and their estate became the site of Valley Forge, where George Washington and the British engaged in battle in 1776.

Tickets are £5 and booking is advised.
