Richard Burton: A Life in Film Exhibition

From Wednesday 8th October to Tuesday 6th January, Narberth Museum is hosting Richard Burton: A Life in Film by award-winning poet and local author Mark Lewis.

Join us at Narberth Museum on Friday 10th October to celebrate the opening. The launch begins at 6pm and entry is £5 which includes entrance to the exhibition and a talk on the films of Richard Burton by Mark Lewis.

Alongside the exhibition we are hosting a series of events to celebrate Richard Burton’s centenary year which have included a staged reading based on the making of The Spy Who Came in from the Cold and talks on Richard Burton’s life and films.

Still to come are a talk from author Angela John on her new book Behind the Scenes: The Dramatic Lives of Philip Burton and are Chrsitmas Cwtch Bar that will have readings from Richard Burton’s ‘A Christmas Story’ and will crown the winner of our Great Welsh Icon poetry competition.
