Wildlife Photography Exhibition
Delve into the beauty and fragility of the natural world with Narberth Museum’s latest instalment; a celebration of Wildlife Photography by local photographer Sarah Bonser-Blake.

Sarah’s love of both photography and nature began at a very early age, though her first attempts at capturing pictures resulted in endlessly blurry snaps of ladybirds and frogs. She even chopped off the heads of her parents in family photos! However, her perseverance paid off, along with a better understanding of animal behaviour, and an adventurous streak which introduced her to wildlife around the world. The exhibition is an exploration into some of the animals (and plant life) that she has encountered over the years, from local creatures on our Pembrokeshire doorstep, to species located in the depths of the Bornean jungle.
Not only does Sarah photograph animals, but she also works with them too. Sarah has a degree in animal biology, a diploma in animal management, and over 15 years of experience working in animal care facilities, both in the UK and abroad. She has been working in her current role as an Animal Welfare Field Manager for an international animal welfare charity, for the last six years. Animals have always been the guiding compass with which Sarah makes her life decisions, and her career, as well as her choice of photography subjects reflects that.
The exhibition comprises a range of large wildlife photography canvasses, printed with eco-conscious materials. These are available to buy, along with a selection of smaller native photography prints. There will be a launch party held on January the 10th and the exhibition will run throughout the rest of January and into February.
The exhibition runs from December 23rd through to Saturday 28th February and her work is available to buy. Any purchases can be collected at the end of the exhibition unless agreed with the exhibitor.
Smaller prints are also available in our bookshop, Chapter One, priced from £12.50 to £15.
Please note, outside of the launch entry to the exhibition is the cost of museum entrance and includes access to our collections. For museum entry information click here.
